IT720 Digital Storytelling (Summer 2016)
In this course, I created a video project that told my story of surviving after infant loss. The project involved creating a PowerPoint storyboard for audio, images, and music transitions. This allowed me to visualize the project and receive peer feedback prior to developing the digital story. The video was created in Camtasia and viewed by peers in my Google blog. The project showed me the importance of emotion in storytelling, while giving me another opportunity to heal from my own grief.
IT800 Instructional Design (Spring 2018)
In this course, I created a PowerPoint storyboard for a web-based module. Ideally, the module would be developed in an eLearning authoring tool. I envision the web-based module containing tutorial videos along with handouts for the learner to print for future references. The module contains a pre-test, four learning objectives, a post-test, and an attitude survey. The instructional module provides an introduction, list of prerequisite skills, learning objectives, examples, instructional content, and a practice activity with feedback. Because of the positive feedback I received from my reviewers, I continue to work on this module post-class in hopes to help other presenters and coworkers.

IT820 Designing/Developing Web-Based Instruction (Spring 2016)
I developed a web based course to replace an instructor-led new employee orientation class. Each instructional module followed an Absorb, Do, and Connect sequence in presenting materials to the learner. The coursework was delivered through a website I created in Wix. Some of the content was provided by my employer, but the audio/video and quizzing I created in Camtasia and through applications inside of Wix. Because of this project, I was able to show my employer possible ways for us to successfully transition from a bi-weekly orientation schedule to an on-demand orientation schedule.
